The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the two drivers who died after a Sunday morning head-on collision on Texas 121 as Justin Blackburn, 48, and Hannah Lucio, 22.

Officers responded to a call reporting a person driving the wrong way on Texas 121 near Sylvania Avenue exit about 4:30 a.m., according to Fort Worth police.

Investigators determined that Lucio, driving a Nissan, was traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma driven by Blackburn, police said.

Blackburn died at the scene from blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner’s website.

Lucio was taken in critical condition to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where she died on Monday from blunt force injuries.

The Nissan was going westbound in the eastbound lanes, investigators said. Police have not shared further details about what led to the crash.
