‘Landman’ star Sam Elliott stops by this popular Fort Worth celebrity spot
Sam Elliott is enjoying his time in Fort Worth while shooting “Landman” season 2.
The 80-year-old actor was spotted on Joe T. Garcia’s patio late last week. The Mexican restaurant is a hot spot for celebrities and is also a favorite of “Landman” star Billy Bob Thornton.
Joe T. Garcia’s posted a photo on Instagram of Elliott’s visit, where he is seen hugging restaurant family member Zurella Lancarte. See the image below.
Elliott’s role in ‘Landman’ season 2
Not much is known about Elliott’s role in “Landman” season 2, beyond him being a series regular on the Paramount+ show.
His casting was previously mentioned by Thornton a few weeks ago and was officially confirmed by Paramount last week. The oil drama has been filming in and around Fort Worth since late March.
“Landman” is Elliott’s second project with both Thornton and Taylor Sheridan, after the trio worked on “Yellowstone” prequel “1883” together. Elliott won a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role as Civil War veteran Shea Brennan.
