Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” is looking to cast extras for season 2 filming.

Production on “Landman” season 2 is expected to get underway this week, with TCU hosting filming on Thursday, March 27. The series is also slated to film at Bowie House and the Crescent Hotel, according to city filings.

Texas-based Legacy Casting posted a couple casting notices for “Landman” season 2 on MyCastingFile, a website used to cast extras and background actors.

How to be cast in ‘Landman’

One casting notice is looking for folks with trucks to be patrons at the “Patch Cafe” set.

Folks with pickup trucks (not red or white) are needed for filming on Friday, March 28. There will be no interior scenes this day. Instead, Legacy is looking to simply use people’s trucks parked outside the cafe.

Pay rate for the day is $110 for 10 hours, along with an additional $35 if the vehicle is used on camera. To apply for the notice, folks can click here and upload information on their truck.

There’s another vehicle-centric casting notice for “Ariana’s neighbors with vehicles.”

El Paso native Paulina Chávez portrays Ariana, a grieving mother who starts a relationship with Cooper Norris (Jacob Lofland) over the first season.

People with vehicles (again, not red or white) are encouraged to apply. Filming is slated for Benbrook, where Ariana’s house is located at 1103 Park Center St. Pay rate for March 28 filming is $110 for 10 hours. Apply here.

Legacy is looking for real paramedics for a scene filming in Weatherford.

The notice states that the person will look like they’re “administering first aid to one of our characters.” Pay for the April 3 filming is 12 hours for $200. Apply here.

Another casting notice is looking for a running double for Demi Moore’s Cami Miller.

Cami is the wife of Jon Hamm’s Monty Miller, who is the CEO of the fictional M-TEX Oil. Most of Moore’s scenes as Cami in season 1 are set in Fort Worth.

To be considered for the job, Legacy says they will need to see a video of applicants running. Pay for the April 10 filming is $250 for 12 hours. Apply here.

Finally, Legacy is looking for extras to portray a variety of roles at the fictional Western Skies nursing home.

Angela (Ali Larter) and Ainsley Norris (Michelle Randolph) volunteered at the nursing home in a few episodes in season 1. The filming location is at Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center, an actual nursing home in Weatherford.

Legacy is looking for orderlies, administrators and residents older than 65 years old for filming on April 3. The company also notes that production will likely visit this location again throughout the season and they would like to keep the same extras for when they return.

Pay for all three roles is the same at $110 for 10 hours of work. Apply for each job by clicking on the following titles: orderlies, administrators and residents.

More about ‘Landman’

“Landman” is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”

The Billy Bob Thornton-led series premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and wrapped its 10-episode first season on Jan. 12. The drama is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, who created the “Boomtown” Texas Monthly podcast that the show is based on.

The first season starred Thornton, Moore, Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Colm Feore, Mark Collie and Jon Hamm. Michael Peña, Andy Garcia and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared in guest roles.

Paramount officially announced “Landman” season 2 earlier this month. All episodes of season 1 are streaming on Paramount+.
