A man was stabbed and injured at an east Fort Worth home early Saturday in a family violence incident, and a suspect is in custody, police said.

Officers were called to the 3700 block of Baylor Street about 12:40 a.m. They found a man who had been stabbed twice in the abdomen, according to police.

The 41-year-old victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

The suspect, Cedric Warren, called 911 and gave authorities his location. The 58-year-old was arrested after talking with a family violence detective, according to police.

Warren was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail and faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police identified him as the victim’s uncle.
