A three-alarm condominium fire in north Dallas destroyed at least 24 units early Friday and left around 45 residents displaced, officials said.

Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the Cambridge Park Condominiums, located at 11490 Audelia Road, at 1 a.m. Flames were already showing through the roof of the three-story building when they arrived, fire officials said in a news release.

The building was severely damaged, and the roof collapsed in several places. It took around 70 firefighters to mitigate the blaze, according to the release.

The cause of the blaze is still unclear, but no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was notified to help with the displaced residents.
