45-year-old suspect shot, injured during west Fort Worth break-in: police

A 45-year-old man was shot and injured after allegedly breaking into a west Fort Worth home early Saturday, police said.

Multiple Forth Worth Police units responded to the 4900 block of Cedar Hill Road about 4:35 a.m. after a 911 caller reported someone was inside their house, the call sheet states.

When officers arrived, they found someone with a gunshot wound. Police said the injured person was the burglary suspect. He was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition for treatment.

Police records identify the suspect as Gary Goff. He faces a burglary of a habitation charge, according to police.

Gun Violence Detectives were notified about the incident, police said.
