Driver dies in crashed vehicle found engulfed in flames on Texas 114 in Westlake
Keller police officers were dispatched to a crash on Texas 114 in Westlake early Friday and found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames, according to Keller Deputy Chief Ryan Coe.
The only person in the vehicle died but has not yet been identified, Coe said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Keller police and Westlake Fire/EMS were called to the single-vehicle collision about 3 a.m. on eastbound State Highway 114 just past Davis Boulevard.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and Coe said investigators have not determined whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
The incident resulted in the closure of eastbound Texas 114 until about 10 a.m.
