Police arrest suspect on suspicion of murder in killing Sunday in east Fort Worth

Police on Friday arrested a suspect in a killing in east Fort Worth five days earlier.

Ryan Willrich, 27, was booked on suspicion of murder.

Willrich is accused of killing Sean Woodberry, 27, about 9:45 p.m. on May 31 in the 4200 block of East Lancaster Avenue. He was shot in the chest and died at the scene, authorities said. The shooting was near a Griff’s Hamburgers restaurant.

Police did not release details on a motive for the killing.

Another man was shot in the neck at the same time. The victim, who was and critically injured, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital. His condition was not available Saturday.
