84-year-old dies from injuries after being hit by vehicle in Bedford parking lot
An 84-year-old man who suffered critical injuries after he was hit by a vehicle in a Bedford parking lot has died from those injuries, according to officials at the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office and Bedford police.
Joe Harold Halliday, of Bedford, passed away early Friday at a Grapevine hospital, according to the medical examiner’s website on Tuesday. He died from complications of multiple traumatic injuries and his death was ruled an accident.
A Bedford traffic investigator did not believe any charges would be filed after the ruling by officials with the medical examiner’s office.
The accident was reported at 12:05 p.m. on Nov. 19 at 2108 Bedford Road in Bedford. The location was the parking lot of a Walmart Neighborhood Market.
Halliday, a pedestrian, was hit by a car in the parking lot, Bedford police said.
