Man jumps to his death at Grapevine hotel
A man who died Monday afternoon at a hotel committed suicide after jumping, according to a ruling by the Tarrant County medical examiner's website on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Gary Davis, 65. A hometown was not listed for Davis by the medical examiner's office, but police said Davis lived in Grapevine.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner's website. He died from multiple blunt force injuries after jumping and his death was ruled a suicide.
Police responded to the call at the Embassy Suites, 2401 Bass Pro Drive, shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday.
When they arrived, officers found Davis' body in the hotel atrium.
Police did not release any other details on his death.
Davis was not checked into the hotel, according to police reports.
