Cameras are rolling in North Texas on the seventh and final season of “The Chosen.”
The Biblical drama, based on the life of Jesus, has primarily filmed at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian since season 3. The show held its season 5 world premiere in Red Oak in March 2025, ahead of its three-part theatrical release over consecutive weekends just a couple of weeks later.
Series creator Dallas Jenkins posted an Instagram story marking the start of production on Monday, April 27.
“Day 1 of 90 of our final season,” Jenkins wrote.
