$41 million winning Texas lottery ticket sold at North Texas 7-Eleven

A Mesquite 7-Eleven sold a jackpot-winning $41 million Lotto Texas ticket Monday, April 20, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery.

The winner, who has not claimed the prize yet, selected all six Quick Pick numbers (21-28-33-34-43-44) and chose the cash value option at the time of purchase. The winner will get an estimated $22.5 million before taxes. Whoever bought the winning ticket has 180 days from the draw date of April 20 to claim the prize.

The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 3700 Interstate Highway 30 in Mesquite. The retailer that sold the jackpot-winning ticket may be eligible for a $25,000 bonus under the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.

This winning jackpot started as a $5 million prize for the Lotto Texas drawing on Nov. 17, 2025, and stretched out for 66 drawings until the winning ticket hit on April 20. The jackpot for the next Lotto Texas drawing on Wednesday, April 22 will now reset to an estimated annuitized $5 million.

To play Lotto Texas, participants must choose six numbers from one to 54. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CST. More information about how to play can be found here.
