Tarrant County more than doubles its confirmed coronavirus cases with new total of 19
Tarrant County confirmed 10 more COVID-19 cases Thursday, more than doubling the number from Wednesday for a current total of 19.
The new coronavirus cases reach all corners of the county and includes the Arlington resident who died Sunday from the virus. Cases have been reported in cities including Fort Worth, Arlington, Southlake, Colleyville, Mansfield, North Richland Hills, Watauga, Benbrook and White Settlement.
Unlike other counties, Tarrant County is not releasing details such as age, sex or how many of the confirmed cases are travel related or from community spread.
Dallas County has 55 confirmed cases.
Tarrant County is currently conducting interviews to identify places patients have traveled and contacting others who may have been exposed.
