Designer handbag store coming soon to Fort Worth’s University Park Village
The designer brand Coach plans to open its second Fort Worth location, this time in University Park Village.
The only other Coach store in Fort Worth is located in the Tanger Outlets at 15853 North Freeway. The Coach outlet sells the brand’s merchandise at discounted prices, whereas a Coach store sells the latest lines of bags, wallets, clothing, shoes and other accessories at full price. University Park Village will have a regular Coach store.
Coach will replace the former Francesca’s, which closed all retail locations shortly after filing for bankruptcy in February.
When will Coach open in University Park Village?
According to a state licensing document, the designer store is set to start construction in July and wrap up by October.
Where will Coach be in University Park Village?
The Coach store will be located at 1600 S University Dr in Suite 604, between Free People movement and the White House Black Market retailers.
University Park Village has a mix of mall retailers. For jewelry, there is Kendra Scott and Gorjana. For clothing, there is Altar’d State, Free People, Nike and Lulu Lemon. For home, there is Anthropologie, Love Sac and William Sonoma. But there has yet to be a designer brand like Coach in the shopping area.
Other University Park Village happenings
Pottery Barn is moving from University Park Village to across the street in the West Bend shopping center. It will reopen in May in the former Market by Macy’s space with another furniture retailer, West Elm.
