The largest commercial jet in the world is coming back to DFW Airport
London’s double-decker bus is returning (in plane form) to DFW Airport next year.
British Airways is bringing back its Airbus A380 to DFW. This double-decker plane will offer non-stop flights from DFW to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) beginning in May 2026 with options for business and first class.
This plane was previously available to Dallas flyers but was removed in March 2025. American Airlines, British Airways’ partner, increased its own services of non-stop flights to LHR to pick up some of the weight.
British Airlines will return to DFW on Oct. 26, but it won’t bring back the Airbus right away. Instead, the airline will offer a plane without business or first class, the A350-1000. Then beginning in March 2026, they will fly the first-class-equipped 787-10 plane. May 2026 is when they will offer the double-decker airbus again.
