This popular North Texas-based furniture store is closing 26 stores. Here’s where
Coppell-based furniture retailer At Home filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy June 16 and announced the closing of 26 “underperforming stores,” according to a news release.
At Home is a popular home furniture and decor store with 40 stores in Texas and 260 stores across the U.S.
The North Texas-based company is restructuring to eliminate nearly $2 billion of accumulated debt.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy is also referred to as “reorganization bankruptcy.” Other retail stores who have filed this past year include Big Lots, Joann Fabrics, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Macy’s and Party City.
