Fort Worth is getting its first Zaxby’s. Here’s where and when it’ll open
Zaxby’s, a Southern fast food staple, is opening its first Fort Worth location in September.
There are a few other Zaxby’s sprinkled around DFW in Keller, Mansfield and Richardson, but now, Fort Worth will get its own store.
The new location will be in southwest Fort Worth at 5384 Sycamore School Road.
The Atlanta-based chain is known for its chicken fingers, wings and salads with signature sauces. Customers can try limited-time lemon-pepper chicken wings, chicken bacon ranch loaded fries or fried pickles.

When will Zaxby’s open in Fort Worth?
The Zaxby’s in Fort Worth will start serving customers on Labor Day — Monday, Sept. 1.
Zaxby’s locations are open from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m.
What type of restaurant is Zaxby’s?
Zaxby’s in Fort Worth will have both dine-in and drive-thru options. It costs $10 to $20 per person.
The new restaurant is 4,000 square feet, with space for 40 dine-in customers.
Customers can also order ahead of time for pickup on the Zaxby’s app or online. Or, customers can order Zaxby’s for delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash and GrubHub.
What else is on the menu at Zaxby’s?
In addition to chicken, Zaxby’s serves some southern snack favorites.
Most Zaxby’s chicken meals are served with a side of crinkle fries and Texas toast. Some also offer coleslaw. If you want it all in one bite, Zaxby’s offers chicken sandwiches served on Texas toast.
Other sides include fried white cheddar bites, veggie egg rolls and quesadillas.
Salads, or Zalads, come in Asian, Cobb, House and blue cheese flavors.
The Zaxby’s signature sauce is a creamy, peppery sauce.
