Co-founder of Colleyville restaurant stepping down after six years

After nearly six years of creating memorable dining experiences at Colleyville restaurant Stone House, co-founder Lisa Pardo said she was stepping away from the restaurant Thursday, July 31.

The decision, shared in a heartfelt message on Stone House’s Facebook page, comes as Pardo begins what she says is a “new chapter centered on family, reflection and rest.”

Lisa Pardo and her late husband, Paul, began their journey with Stone House in August 2019, when they started remodeling the stone house on the corner of Colleyville Boulevard. Pardo said the transformation of the restaurant took “blood, sweat and tears” as they tuned it into the restaurant it is today.

They had a vision, grounded in faith and community, which turned the restaurant into a go-to spot for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and heartfelt gatherings for Colleyville community members.
