In new ‘Dutton Ranch’ episode: downtown Cleburne, Weatherford business and more

“Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch” filmed its first season all around North Texas.

The Paramount+ show follows Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on a new adventure in the fictional South Texas town of Rio Paloma. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their “Yellowstone” roles, along with Finn Little as their adopted son Carter.

Several Fort Worth and other North Texas locations and references appeared in the first three episodes of “Dutton Ranch.”

Here’s a look at all the locations and references featured in season 1, episode 4, “Start with a Bullet,” which aired on Friday, May 29 on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network.

Hitt Street Self-Storage

At 8:20, Carter (Finn Little) drives by a storage facility on his way to a feed store.

This was filmed in front of Hitt Street Self-Storage in Boyd at 300 N. Hitt St.

The storage facility is a stone’s throw from the Boyd Feed Store, which appears in this episode and the series premiere.

Teskey’s

In the same sequence, Carter talks to a rancher about working for him.

The rancher is wearing a hat with a Teskey’s Saddle Shop logo.

Teskey’s is a Weatherford-based (3001 W. Interstate 20) retailer specializing in all kinds of Western apparel and supplies, including clothes, boots, saddles and animal care. “Landman” star Michelle Randolph told the Star-Telegram that she stopped by the store while shooting the show in the area.

Downtown Cleburne

At 10:17, Beth (Kelly Reilly) drives through town while calling a vet.

This was filmed in downtown Cleburne, where several murals on the exterior wall of The Garden of Eating Bistro can be seen.

Alpine, Texas

At 13:41, Carter is seen working for the rancher from the feed store.

The rancher mentions that he’s from Alpine, Texas.

Alpine is a small town in West Texas with a population of just over 6,000 people.

Rowlett’s Hardware

At 21:20, Azul (J.R. Villarreal) and Zachariah (Marc Menchaca) stop by a hardware store for supplies.

This was filmed at Rowlett’s Hardware in Grandview at 102 S. Louisiana St. There’s a quick shot of 254 Kettle Korn, LLC in the same scene.

“Dutton Ranch” airs Fridays on Paramount+ and the Paramount Network.
