‘Landman’ season 2 is over. See all the Fort Worth and North Texas references
Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” is over for now.
The Sheridan and Christian Wallace co-created show returned for its 10-episode second season in November 2025 and aired weekly until mid-January. The Paramount+ show filmed in and around Fort Worth over the spring and summer. “Landman” was recently renewed for a third season.
Since the series is made and partially set in the Metroplex, there are several local references and locations that pop up in the show.
With season 2 over, here’s a look back at all the Texas filming locations and references made in each episode.
Episode one: ‘Death and a Sunset’
Crescent Hotel
The episode opens with Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) smoking a cigarette in a rooftop bar.
This was filmed at Ralph’s in the Crescent Hotel at 3300 Camp Bowie Blvd. Ralph’s is a members-only club named after Mary Ralph Lowe, a Fort Worth businesswoman and philanthropist.
Ariana and Cooper’s house
At 3:47, Cooper (Jacob Lofland) and Ariana (Paulina Chávez) have a bedside chat before he heads off to work.
Their house is set in the Midland-Odessa area, but is actually located in Benbrook at 1103 Park Center St.
Stockyards, Dickies Arena and Pioneer Tower
At 4:28, several famous Fort Worth locations are seen.
The Fort Worth Herd’s cattle drive is first, followed by a shot of Dickies Arena and then the Will Rogers Memorial Center’s Pioneer Tower. The cattle drive is located in the Stockyards, and the other two are in the Cultural District.
Bowie House
At 4:41, several members of the oil industry gather to hear Cami Miller (Demi Moore) speak.
This sequence was filmed at the Bowie House hotel at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. In addition to serving as a filming location, some cast members also stayed at the venue while in town filming.
In November 2025, Bowie House hosted the Lone Star Film Festival Gala, which honored Sam Elliott with a career achievement award.
TCU
At 21:43, Angela (Ali Larter) and Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) explore TCU’s campus in Fort Worth.
This was shot on location around the university. The interior of the Mary Wright Admission Center, and exteriors of Sadler Hall and Milton Daniel Hall are seen. The famous Horned Frog statue also makes an appearance.
Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport
At 30:15, Tommy and Cami arrive at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport to fly back to West Texas.
This was shot on location at the north Fort Worth airport at 13901 Aviator Way, Suite 270. The airport was also featured in the first season.
Tommy’s house
At 36:47, Cooper arrives at Tommy’s house to have family dinner.
The house is set in the Midland-Odessa area, but is actually located in north Fort Worth at 12035 Vista Ranch Way.
Mira Vista
At 41:55, Angela says she wants to hire a realtor to find a house for the family in “Mira Vista.”
This is in reference to the Mira Vista neighborhood located in southwest Fort Worth. In a 2023 ranking, Mira Vista was named the fourth most expensive neighborhood in Texas with a median home price of $893,000.
Episode two: ‘Sins of the Father’
Patch Cafe
At 16 minutes, Cooper calls Tommy while outside the Patch Cafe.
The cafe is a familiar location in the show that was seen throughout season 1 as a local watering hole for oil workers. The restaurant set is located in west Fort Worth at 9840 Camp Bowie West Blvd.
River Crest Country Club
At 16:50, Cami is seen jogging outside River Crest Country Club.
The central Fort Worth club is one of the oldest in Fort Worth, with roots tracing back to the 1910s. The club, located at 1501 Western Ave., was also seen a couple of times in the first season.
Truck & Travel
At 17:30, Tommy calls Cami from a gas station somewhere in Midland-Odessa.
This was filmed in Weatherford at Truck & Travel, an actual gas station located at 1118 W. Park Ave.
Fort Worth Star-Telegram
At 22 minutes, Cami’s assistant brings her a newspaper and asks if she wants to read it.
The newspaper in question is the April 9 edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The front page of the paper is briefly seen, showing a quick glimpse of stories from reporters Kamal Morgan and Silas Allen.
Margie’s Italian Gardens, JD’s Hamburgers
At 22:56, Tommy meets up with Cooper at the Patch Cafe.
Margie’s Italian Gardens is seen in the background. The west Fort Worth Italian restaurant is owned by Bourke Harvey and Gigi Howell, and reopened in spring 2025.
Howell also owns JD Hamburger’s, which has been seen a few times in the background of the show. When Jon Hamm was in Fort Worth last year filming season 1, the restaurant sold a special “Jon Hammburger.”
Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center
At 30:13, Angela and Ainsley are leading an aerobics class at a nursing home.
These scenes were filmed at Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford. The center, located at 970 Hilltop Drive, was seen a few times in the first season.
White’s Funeral Home
At 38:10, Tommy and Cooper arrive at a funeral home to choose a casket.
This was filmed at White’s Funeral Home in Springtown at 401 N. Main St. While in town, Thornton and Lofland took a trip just down the street to the First United Methodist Church to take photos with the church’s “Landman”-themed sign.
OYO hotel
At 41:15, Tommy and Cooper arrive at Prairie View Assisted Living to visit with T.L. (Sam Elliott).
This was filmed at the OYO hotel in Jacksboro at 824 S. Main St.
‘Riff Ram Bah Zoo’ TCU cheer
At 51:11, Ainsley is practicing cheerleading and reciting a cheer over and over.
The cheer is from TCU, where she is set to attend after being accepted into the university in the previous episode. The cheer first appeared in a 1905 yearbook, according to the university.
Episode three: ‘Almost a Home’
Ultimate Top Drives
The episode opens with hunters driving and shooting after hogs.
The vehicle the hunters are is from Ultimate Top Drives, an outdoor vehicle company based in Selma, Texas. The elevated vehicles give hunters a height advantage, according to the company.
Frost Tower
At 3:48, Cami is seen going through files at her husband’s office in Fort Worth.
This was filmed at Frost Tower in downtown at 640 Taylor St. The 25-story building opened in 2018.
Westfork Fitness
At 5:53, Tommy calls Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) while she’s at the gym.
This was filmed at Westfork Fitness at 4648 White Settlement Road. The gym is located in Fort Worth’s River District neighborhood.
Stephen Reich
At 15:57, Tommy drops Angela off at a Fort Worth house with a realtor.
The realtor is an actual realtor in Stephen Reich, who is based in Weatherford and sells ranches and luxury estates. Reich is mentioned in this season’s first episode as well.
Camp Bowie
At 16:53, Tommy is seen driving to an appointment.
A quick aerial shot shows that Tommy is driving on the red-bricked Camp Bowie Boulevard. The roadway is named after a World War I military training camp called “Camp Bowie,” which itself was named after Texas revolutionary hero James “Jim” Bowie.
Crescent Fort Worth
A few seconds later, Tommy enters a building for a meeting.
This was filmed at Crescent Fort Worth, a mixed-use development located at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd. A hotel, apartments and office spaces are located in the development.
The scene with Tommy and Gallino was filmed in one of the building’s offices. The University of North Texas Health Science Center and Will Rogers Memorial Center can be seen in the far background.
Fort Worth luxury home
At 29:27, Angela checks out a house that’s for sale.
The Fort Worth house is the former home of ex-Radio Shack CEO Len Roberts at 4400 Overton Crest St. The home was auctioned off for $5.2 million in 2023.
Moncrief Cancer Institute
At 32:15, Tommy and Cami are talking about honoring Monty’s (Jon Hamm) legacy.
Tommy mentions that she could build a cancer center “like the Moncrief’s.” This is in reference to the affluential Moncrief family, which the Moncrief Cancer Institute is named after.
Cattlemen’s Steak House
At 33:09, Tommy and Cami arrive at Cattlemen’s Steak House.
This was filmed at the actual Fort Worth restaurant, which recently underwent a series of multimillion-dollar renovations after it was purchased by Sheridan and “Landman” executive producer David Glasser.
Part of the renovations included an exclusive members-only dining and social club — The Cattlemen’s Club — in the restaurant’s basement.
Episode four: ‘Dancing Rainbows’
Canadian, Texas
Around eight minutes in, Cooper tells Ariana that he’s going to a funeral for his grandmother in Canadian, Texas.
This is in reference to the actual Canadian, a small town of around 2,300 people located on the eastern side of the Texas Panhandle. The town is named for the nearby Canadian River.
Oakwood Cemetery
At 13:50, Cami arrives at a cemetery where her husband Monty is buried.
This was filmed at Oakwood Cemetery in Fort Worth, which overlooks the Trinity River.
The cemetery was established 1879 and is the resting place for several notable names, including Horace S. Carswell Jr., an Army major killed in World War II; Jim “Longhaired Jim” Courtright, a lawman killed in a gunfight outside the White Elephant Saloon; Texas Gov. Charles Allen Culberson and Samuel Burk Burnett, the former owner of the 6666 Ranch which Sheridan now owns.
Winn Hill Cemetery
At 26:23, the Norris family attends the funeral of Tommy’s mother.
This was filmed at Winn Hill Cemetery in Jacksboro in late April. The cemetery, located at 8800 Burwick Road, has been operational since the late 1800s.
Mesquite Pit
At 28:06, the Norris family stops by a restaurant named “The Bucket” after the funeral.
This was filmed at Mesquite Pit in Weatherford at 1201 Fort Worth Highway. The restaurant also has locations in Granbury and Mineral Wells.
Martha Williams
At 38:15, Cami tells her assistant to call Martha Williams from Williams Trew to sell her house.
This is in reference to Martha Williams, an actual realtor based in Fort Worth. This is the second real-life realtor that has been mentioned in the show, after Stephen Reich’s name came up in episodes one and three.
61 Osteria
At 38:26, Cami arrives at a restaurant to meet with Gallino.
This was filmed at 61 Osteria in downtown Fort Worth at 500 W. Seventh St. The Italian restaurant opened in 2023 and is a favorite among the show’s cast.
Faith Community Hospital
At 46:20, Boss (Mustafa Speaks) and his crew check on their friend after he was exposed to toxic gas.
The name of the hospital in the show is Midland General Hospital, but this was filmed at Faith Community Hospital in Jacksboro at 215 Chisholm Trail. The hospital also appeared in the first season.
Episode five: ‘The Pirate Dinner’
Sabine Pass
At 3:25, Angela asks T.L. what his last meal would be if he was on death row. He says the best meal he ever had in his life was “at the marina in Sabine Pass.”
This is in reference to Sabine Pass, a neighborhood in Port Arthur, Texas. Sabine Pass is located just off the Sabine River near the Texas-Louisiana border.
Troy Aikman
At 14 minutes, Tommy is going over a beer menu at the Patch Cafe. He makes jokes at some of the names, including a beer named “Eight.”
Ellie, the waitress, says that former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman owns the brand to which Tommy says that he may have to try it just out of respect. Aikman launched Eight in 2022, and the beer brand is named after the number he wore while playing for America’s team.
Stockyards, downtown Fort Worth
At 35 minutes, Tommy is seen driving past Cattlemen’s Steak House in the Stockyards as Nathan (Colm Feore) calls him from downtown Fort Worth.
Nathan is seen walking on the sidewalk of the First on 7th building at 500 West 7th Street. The building was built in 1961 and was the former home of the First National Bank of Fort Worth.
East Fort Worth house
At 50 minutes, Cooper arrives at Ariana’s parent’s in Corpus Christi.
This was filmed in Fort Worth at 4253 Strong Ave. The house is just across the street from a water tower.
Four Sixes Ranch
At 56:40, Tommy orders a beer from the Patch Cafe.
When Ariana pours the Bud Light, right next to the tap is one for Four Sixes Grit & Glory. A sign for the beer is also seen on the back wall of the bar.
Four Sixes Grit & Glory is part of the larger Four Sixes Ranch brand, which also sells beef products and equine supplements. Sheridan purchased the ranch for more than $300 million a few years ago.
Episode six: ‘Dark Night of the Soul’
Martin County Armory
The episode opens with a giant gun sign with a Tarzan & Jane Travel Center in the background.
This is in Stanton, Texas, about 280 miles west of Fort Worth. The sign is from Martin County Armory, which has a store just a few minutes from the sign.
Ector County Coliseum
Five minutes into the episode, Boss and his crew are seen attending the Permian Basin International Oil Show.
This was filmed at Ector County Coliseum in Odessa at 4201 Andrews Highway. The venue actually hosts the Permian Basin International Oil Show every October.
Big Horn Travel Center
At 14:08, Cooper calls Tommy from a San Antonio gas station.
This was filmed at Big Horn Travel Center in west Fort Worth at 1301 Markum Ranch Road East, just off Interstate 20.
Body Machine Fitness
At 15:25, Angela and Ainsley are working out at the gym.
This was filmed at Body Machine Fitness in Fort Worth at 2300 W. 7th St. This is the second time the gym has appeared in the show after popping up in season 1, episode 8.
Body Machine Fitness closed its Fort Worth location this spring, but still has a gym in Plano.
Bachendorf’s and Sue Gragg jewelers
In the same scene, Angela and Cooper talk about how much wedding rings cost.
Angela tells Cooper to not buy a ring over the internet and instead says, “Go to Bachendorf’s, or you can call Sue Gragg. Those are your only two options.”
Bachendorf’s is a North Texas-based jewelry store with three locations in Dallas and one in Fort Worth at the Shops at Clearfork. Sue Gragg is a Dallas-based jeweler who has been in the business for more than 30 years.
PR’s Saloon, Stockyard Stables, Corey Seager and the Fort Worth Herd
At 23 minutes, Tommy and T.L. are driving through the Fort Worth Stockyards.
There are a few quick shots of PR’s Saloon (2411 N. Main St.) and Stockyard Stables (157 E. Exchange Ave.). There’s also a quick glimpse of a guy wearing a Texas Rangers Corey Seager jersey.
T.L. tells Tommy that there used to be cattle drives through the Stockyards, to which Tommy says there still is, only it’s for the tourists now and not for the packers. Tommy is referring to the twice-daily cattle drive from the Fort Worth Herd.
Will Rogers Memorial Center
At 23:32, Tommy and T.L. arrive at Will Rogers Memorial Center.
The 120-acre facility has been seen in the background of “Landman” a few times. The annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is held at the venue every January and February.
American Hat Company
A few seconds later, T.L. speaks with a vendor at the American Hat Company booth.
The American Hat Company has been shaping hats since 1915. The company’s first hat store opened in Houston and is now located in Bowie, Texas.
Kit Moncrief
At 25:40, Gallino and Cami are watching a horse run inside the arena. Cami asks him if the horse is his, to which Gallino says, “It’s Kit’s horse.”
This is in reference to Kit Moncrief, who also appears in the scene. Moncrief is part of the affluential Moncrief family, which Fort Worth’s Moncrief Cancer Institute is named after. She also serves as the chair of TCU’s board of trustees.
Tarrant County Jail
At 27:11, T.L. speaks with an inmate who is picking up trash around the arena.
The inmate is wearing a Tarrant County Jail vest. The Tarrant County Corrections Center is located in Fort Worth at 100 N. Lamar St.
Neiman Marcus
At 41:39, Angela and Ainsley leave a Neiman Marcus after shopping.
This was filmed in Fort Worth at the Shops at Clearfork at 5200 Monahans Ave.
Benbrook house
At 45:20, Cooper walks across the street from Ariana’s house to bring her baby to her grandmother-in-law.
This was filmed at 1100 Park Center St. in Benbrook, just across the street from Ariana’s house at 1103 Park Center St.
White Elephant Saloon
At 48:42, Tommy and his crew are having drinks in Fort Worth at the White Elephant Saloon.
This was filmed at the actual establishment at 106 E. Exchange Ave. White Elephant says it’s the “oldest and most iconic” saloon in Cowtown. Billy Bob Thornton has said the White Elephant is one of his favorite hangouts when he’s in Fort Worth for shooting.
Episode seven: ‘Forever Is an Instant’
Mary’s Cafe
At 24:56, Tommy and T.L. stop for lunch at Mary’s Cafe.
Mary’s Cafe is located in Strawn, Texas, at 119 Grant Ave. The restaurant is known for its Texas-sized burgers and chicken fried steak.
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Circle T Ranch, Ross Perot Jr.
At 29:51, Cooper asks Ainsley if she already has her wedding planned.
Ainsley says she does and that she’ll get married at “St. Andrew’s in downtown Fort Worth.” And that the reception will be “at the barn at Circle T Ranch.” She then tells Cooper that he and Tommy need to become friends with Ross Perot Jr. since it will be expensive to rent the barn.
Construction on St. Andrews was completed in 1912, and the church still stands in downtown Fort Worth at 917 Lamar St.
Circle T Ranch is part of Hillwood’s 27,000 acre development — AllianceTexas. Hillwood was founded by Ross Perot Jr., who Forbes says has a net worth of $6.5 billion.
Hillwood also partnered with Sheridan and Paramount Television on a 450,000-square-foot film and television production campus in north Fort Worth that opened earlier this year. Some of “Landman” season 2 was filmed at the campus.
Fort Worth Florist
At 35:53, Cooper arrives at a flower shop to buy roses for Ariana.
While the sign out front says “Midland Florist,” this was filmed at Fort Worth Florist at 8247 Camp Bowie W. Blvd.
Episode eight: ‘Handsome Touched Me’
Rick’s Cabaret
At 9:13, Tommy pulls into the Rick’s Cabaret parking lot.
This scene was filmed at the Rick’s Cabaret in Fort Worth at 7101 Calmont Ave. The club also made an appearance in season 1. Rick’s is one of several clubs owned by Houston-based RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. Rick’s actually has two locations in Fort Worth. The other spot is located at 15000 Airport Freeway.
Choctaw Travel Plaza
At 16:45, Angela and Ainsley stop by a gas station on the way to a casino.
This was filmed at the Choctaw Travel Plaza in Calera, Okla., at 4301 Hollis Roberts Road. The gas station is just minutes from Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Okla.
Choctaw Casino & Resort
At 19:42, Angela and Ainsley arrive at the casino with their group from the retirement home.
While Angela says earlier in the episode that she’s going to a casino in Carlsbad, New Mexico, this was actually filmed in Durant, Okla., at Choctaw Casino & Resort. This sequence was filmed in July, according to several casting calls from Texas-based Legacy Casting.
Toro Toro
At 24:18, Cami is seen at a restaurant bar.
This was filmed at Toro Toro in downtown Fort Worth at 200 Main St. The restaurant serves up Pan-Latin cuisine.
TCU mural
At 35:08, a TCU mural is seen in the background as Tommy leaves Frost Tower in downtown Fort Worth.
The 96-by-90-foot mural is located off Fifth and Throckmorton streets. The mural was completed in December 2023 and will remain in place until at least 2028, according to TCU.
Brantley Creek Barbecue
At 44 minutes, Margaret arrives home from work and her husband says that he picked up barbecue from “Brantley Creek.”
This is in reference to Odessa-based Brantley Creek Barbecue. The joint made Texas Monthly’s honorable mention list for best barbecue restaurants in the state this year.
Texas Rangers
At 45:28, Tommy arrives home to a baseball-themed dinner.
In addition to Angela wearing a Texas Rangers hat and shirt, a branded bat and baseball are also seen in the scene. Baseball hats representing TCU, Baylor and Texas Tech also make an appearance.
Episode nine: ‘Plans, Tears and Sirens’
Mary’s Cafe
At 3:10, Tommy talks to T.L. outside.
T.L. is wearing the Mary’s Cafe shirt he picked up in season 2, episode 7. Mary’s Cafe is located in Strawn, Texas, at 119 Grant Ave.
North Fort Worth house
At 7:45, Rebecca arrives at Charlie’s (Guy Burnett) house to apologize.
This was filmed in north Fort Worth at 1228 Meredith Creek Lane. The house is in the same neighborhood as Tommy’s house at 12035 Vista Ranch Way.
Westlake mansion
At 14:29, Gallino is getting ready for the day at his home.
This was filmed in Westlake at 1708 Oak Glen Lane. Zillow estimates that the house is worth $9.9 million.
TCU’s campus
At 16:45, Angela drops off Ainsley at TCU.
These scenes were filmed on-location at the Fort Worth university. Several locations are seen across campus, including Colby Hall, Milton Daniel Hall and M.E. Sadler Hall.
Richard Blake
At 33:07, Angela makes a phone call to Rick about securing housing for Ainsley at the Bowie House hotel.
Rick is played by actor Richard Blake, who is based in Fort Worth and made his last film “The Actor” in Cowtown. The Star-Telegram spoke to Blake about the movie in 2024.
Bowie House
At 40 minutes, Angela and Ainsley are hanging out at Bowie House’s pool area.
This was filmed on-location at the Fort Worth hotel located at 3700 Camp Bowie Blvd. Earlier in the episode, Angela mentions renting the Sorrel Suite for Ainsley. The suite is a corner room and includes a walk-in closet, king-size bed, master bathroom and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Episode 10: ‘Tragedy and Flies’
Bud Kennedy’s dog
At 8:50, a couple are walking their dog outside Tommy’s house.
This dog is none other than the pet of Star-Telegram reporter Bud Kennedy. While the dog is unnamed in the show, Kennedy said Poppy is the furry star’s name.
Meyerson Symphony Center
At 14:45, Tommy calls and makes lunch plans with Bob Knowles (Colin Ferguson) in Dallas.
Bob is seen walking outside the Meyerson Symphony Center, which is the home of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The center is located at 2301 Flora St.
TCU
At 15:10, Ainsley goes to cheerleading practice at TCU.
This was filmed on-campus at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex at 3750 W. Berry St. The complex also made an appearance in season 1.
Jacksboro Police Station
At 20:30, Ariana and Cooper arrive at the Odessa police station.
These scenes were filmed at the Jacksboro Police Station at 124 E. Belknap St. The production transformed the North Texas town to look more like the West Texas one in July 2025.
Omni Hotel
At 24:50, Ariana calls Rebecca, who is at an Odessa hotel.
This was filmed at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth at 1300 Houston St.
Montgomery Street Cafe
At 28:18, Tommy calls Sheriff Walt Joeberg (Mark Collie), who is at a cafe.
This was filmed at Montgomery Street Cafe in Fort Worth at 2000 Montgomery St.
The Chumley House
At 28:54, Angela has lunch with Bella (Stefania Spampinato) in Fort Worth.
This was filmed at The Chumley House in Fort Worth at 3230 Camp Bowie Blvd. suite 150. The beef wellington and blue crab pot pie dishes that Bella talks about are actually served at the restaurant.
Mister Charles
At 38:19, Tommy arrives at Mister Charles for his lunch meeting with Bob.
This was filmed at the actual restaurant in Dallas at 3219 Knox St. suite 170.
