Summer is winding down in North Texas, but there’s still plenty of fun activities around the area for those looking to boogie over the weekend.

From a variety of concerts and musical shows, to a preseason Dallas Cowboys game, there’s no shortage of ways to spend the next few days.

Whether you’re looking for family-friendly events, date-night concerts or just a reason to get out and explore, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas each have their own lineup ready to go.

Sound Bath Under the Stars

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s Jane & John Justin Foundation Omni Theater is hosting a sound bath experience to help folks counteract the “Sunday Scaries.” A sound bath is described as being bathed in sound waves produced by various instruments, which helps “induce a state of deep relaxation” and also release stress.

Dallas Cowboys versus Atlanta Falcons

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Atlanta Falcons at AT&T Stadium on Friday, Aug. 22. This will be the Cowboys’ third and final preseason matchup, before the regular season kicks off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Finanical Field on Sept. 4.

Classics IV concert

Rock band Classics IV will play the hits — “Spooky,” “Stormy” and “Traces” — at Arlington Music Hall on Friday.
