‘Squid Game,’ ‘Stranger Things’ will be part of new Netflix House in North Texas

Some of Netflix’s biggest shows will soon come to life in North Texas.

The streaming service announced last year that a permanent entertainment venue named Netflix House is coming to Galleria Dallas (13350 Dallas Parkway). Now, about a year later, Netflix has announced that the venue will open in Dallas later this year.

While there’s no concrete date on when the venue will open, besides “late 2025,” Netflix did detail what fans can expect from the Dallas location.

“Finally, a place where the Netflix story you can’t get enough of becomes something real that you can play, shop, and taste,” Netflix’s chief marketing officer Marian Lee wrote in a news release. “We are thrilled to welcome our new neighbors in Philadelphia, Dallas, and Las Vegas to explore Netflix in a whole new light, enhanced by the unique charm and culture of each city.”

Netflix House in Dallas

Dallas’ Netflix House will launch with a couple experiences from two of the services most popular shows — “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things.”

“Squid Game: Survive the Trials” puts fans into the arena as they play “diabolical” games, face off against the “Front Man” and betray their friends for a chance to win it all. The third and final season of the Korean survival thriller series premieres June 27.

“Stranger Things: Escape the Dark” puts fans into an immersive experience as they journey into the ruins of Hawkins to find three missing townspeople, while avoiding the lurking horror within. The fifth and final season of the 1980s sci-fi series will premiere in November.

In addition, the “Netflix RePLAY” game room will have physical challenges, immersive story rooms and retro-style games.

The Dallas venue will also have a casual restaurant called “Netflix Bites,” which will serve food and craft cocktails playing on the service’s popular stories and characters. There will also be a shop selling exclusive merchandise.

More on Netflix House

In addition to Dallas, Netflix announced that the Philadelphia location will also open later this year.

Fans can expect experiences based on “Wednesday” and “One Piece,” along with playing show-inspired mini-golf courses and virtual reality games. The Philadelphia location will also have a “Tudum Theater,” where fans can catch the latest Netflix project on the big screen.

A Las Vegas location was also announced this week, with a targeted opening in 2027.
