‘Shameless’ star Emmy Rossum stops by North Texas barbecue restaurant
“Shameless” star Emmy Rossum got a taste of North Texas barbecue last week.
The 38-year-old actress was spotted at The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ in Trophy Club. The barbecue joint opened in 2023 and announced plans earlier this year to open a new restaurant in Arlington.
Rossum took a few photos with restaurant staff during his visit, as seen on the eatery’s Instagram page. See the snaps below.
“It’s not everyday you get to meet a Gallagher!” the restaurant wrote. “Thank you for taking the time to take some pictures with our crew, we’re huge fans!”
Who is Emmy Rossum?
Rossum began acting as a child in projects such as “Snoops,” “The Practice” and “Law & Order.”
She worked on several high-profile films in the 2000s, including “Mystic River,” “The Day After Tomorrow” and “The Phantom of the Opera.” However, her career-defining role came in 2011 on “Shameless.”
The Showtime comedy series ran for 11 seasons and 134 episodes from 2011 to 2021. Rossum appeared in the first nine seasons as Fiona Gallagher, the oldest child of the scrappy Gallagher family.
In recent years, Rossum starred in television shows “Angelyne” and “The Crowded Room.” Next up for her is a drama series inspired by the 1987 film “Black Widow.”
