Two Big 12 powerhouses among Arlington prospect's Top 8

Arlington Bowie 2019 receiver and safety Ty DeArman announced his Top 8 college choices.

DeArman holds 26 offers, but narrowed it down to Texas Tech, Baylor, Wisconsin, San Diego State, Washington State, Utah, Arizona State and Arkansas.

The 3-star prospect recorded 990 yards of total offense, 6 TDs, 73 tackles, 3 INTs, 4 pass deflections and 4 forced fumbles in 2017, and named to the second team Star-Telegram all-star football team.

He was voted third-team all-state utility player by the Texas Sports Writers Association and District 4-6A Utility Player of the Year.

DeArman was voted the District 4-6A Offensive Sophomore of the Year in 2016.

He's the No. 82 athlete in the nation and No. 114 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports.
