Utility worker finds bones scattered in wooded area in Southlake
A utility worker found bones scattered in a heavily wooded area of Southlake on Monday afternoon, police said.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office will determine whether the bones are human remains, police spokeswoman Kim Leach said.
Police were called about 3:15 p.m. to the wooded area in the 1300 block of North White Chapel Road, just south of Texas 114. The bones were scattered in the area and “appeared to have been there for some time,” Leach said.
No further details were available Monday.
