NFL draft Night 2 went to dogs as Patriots Bill Belichick’s pup sits for social media

NFL/ESPN

The NFL draft went to the dogs Friday night.

Specifically, Bill Belichick’s dog Nike.

The Alaskan Klee Kai — think skinnier, less fluffy Husky — was caught sitting at Belichick’s war room computer screen set up during the second night of the draft.

Belichick’s set up for the special pandemic-altered draft was peak Belichick. It included a no-nonsense, wooden dining-room table equipped with multiple computers and some chairs.

The ESPN/NFL Network camera feed caught Nike sitting in a chair apparently gazing at a computer screen with Belichick out of the room. Moments later Belichick returned and gave a half-smile to Nike before giving him what appeared to be a treat.

Fans and media members loved it on social media and spent the rest of the night making jokes about the moment.

If you’re curious, Alaskan Klee Kai puppies cost around $1,500 to $3,000, according to AllThingsDogs.com.
