‘Crib like Kliff.’ Kingsbury’s Arizona mansion stole the NFL draft on social media

Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury is just cooler than most of us, especially other NFL coaches.

A social media image during the NFL draft proved it once again Thursday night.

The picture, posted on the Cardinals’ Twitter feed, showed Kingsbury sitting on a swank white couch in an ultra-modern living room preparing for the draft, including an expansive, clear glass wall behind him showing off a backyard fit for an art museum. The $4.45 million mansion, according realtor.com, is in Paradise Valley, Ariz.

The post blew up on social media, drawing praise, adoration and mostly good-natured envy from fans, media and NFL stars.

Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt compared Kingsbury to Emilio Estevez’s character in “The Mighty Ducks.”

Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Pat Mahomes reacted on Twitter with “I’m trying to have a crib like Kliff!”

Chiefs’ safety Tyrann Mathieu, who played his first five seasons with the Cardinals, replied to Mahomes, “No wonder they couldn’t afford me anymore.”

The Ringer’s Robert Mays declared that “Getting kicked out of Lubbock was the best thing that’s ever happened to Kliff Kingsbury.”
