Tom Brady considering a boat as he gets used to ‘Tompa Bay’ lifestyle in Florida
Tom Brady might be in the market for a boat after moving to Florida.
The six-time Super Bowl winner who recently signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 20 illustrious seasons with the New England Patriots, was on with hosts Rich Eisen, comedian Kevin Hart and Deion Sanders, who were hosting the NFL’s “Draft-A-Thon” on social media and digital platforms to help raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts.
Brady took some ribbing from Hart for using the term “Tompa Bay” in a social media posts earlier Thursday. Brady was responding to a TMZ story about how he accidentally entered a stranger’s house earlier this month when he thought he was going to the house of Bucs’ offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.
“Trespassing in parks, breaking and entering … Just making myself at home in Tompa Bay!” Brady posted in a reply to TMZ’s story of the mixup.
Earlier this month Brady applied for a trademark of the terms “Tompa Bay” and “Tampa Brady” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to use in selling merchandise.
During the Draft-A-Thon, Brady said he bought a couple of jet skis and is thinking about buying a boat and joked that he didn’t expect to lose money by moving to Florida.
Brady signed off early, he said, because he needed to put his kids to bed.
