Another Philadelphia Eagles injury practically gift-wraps NFC East to Dallas Cowboys

Injuries to the Philadelphia Eagles are practically begging the Dallas Cowboys to take the NFC East.

Eagles’ receiver Alshon Jeffery is the latest player to be out for the rest of the season, according to a report on the NFL Network.

Jeffery injured his foot in Monday night’s win over the New York Giants. It was a rough night for Philly receivers. J.J. Arcega-Whiteside left Monday’s game with a leg injury and Nelson Agholor was out with a knee injury.

DeSean Jackson has been on injured reserve with a torn abdominal muscle and only played in three games. Arcega-Whiteside’s injury isn’t thought to be serious.

Both the Cowboys and Eagles are 6-7. They play at 3:25 p.m. Dec. 22 in Philadelphia. Dallas dominated Philadelphia 37-10 on Oct. 20 at AT&T Stadium.

The Eagles had lost three consecutive games before beating the Giants in overtime. The Cowboys have lost their past three games and host the Los Angeles Rams at 3:25 p.m. Sunday.
