The Cowboys’ roller-coaster season continued last Sunday with a close win over the visiting Detroit Lions, 26-24.

Quarterback Dak Prescott, owner Jerry Jones, head coach Jason Garrett and running back Ezekiel Elliott were all smiles after the game.

But several former members of the Cowboys also had reasons to smile during Week 4 of the NFL season.

1. Dez Bryant, NFL free agent

Bryant live-tweeted during the first two games of the Cowboys’ season, but was almost entirely silent during the team’s dreadful Week 3 loss to the Seahawks. However, Bryant jumped back on social media Sunday to praise his teammates and other stars around the NFL.

2. Ryan Switzer, wide receiver, Pittsburgh Steelers

Switzer nabbed a touchdown pass from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger during his team’s 30-27 win over the Buccaneers last Monday night. And the slot receiver enjoyed more attention from his quarterback, as he caught all seven passes thrown his way for 32 yards.

3. Tony Romo, in-game analyst, CBS

Romo’s abilities in the booth were on display once again. But last week during a radio interview on 105.3 The Fan, he certainly played coy about a return to the NFL.

4. Jason Witten, analyst, ESPN’s “Monday Night Football”

Witten didn’t make any controversial comments on Monday night. But several of his ads for various businesses seem to be popping up all over the place.

5. Dan Bailey, kicker, Minnesota Vikings

Bailey didn’t have much to do in his debut with the Vikings in Week 3. But last Thursday, he made all three of his field goal attempts in his team’s 37-31 loss to the Rams.
