What pick did the Dallas Mavericks get in the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery?
The Dallas Mavericks had one of the most improbable NBA Draft Lotteries last year when they won the No. 1 pick despite only having a 1.8% chance to do so. With the eighth-best odds for the top pick this season how did they make out?
The Mavs earned the No. 9 selection in the draft. Entering the lottery they had a 29% chance to move into the top four, and will look to give reining NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg a new running mate.
The Mavs could be targeting guards like Louisville’s Mikel Brown or hope Arkansas guard Darius Acuff Jr. falls to them.
The Mavs lottery representative was Rolando Blackman for the second straight season. Blackman was the No. 9 pick in the 1981 NBA Draft and had his jersey retired by the franchise in 2000 after 11 years with the team.
Whoever the Mavs pick will be the first player picked under the leadership of new team president Masai Ujiri.
The Washington Wizards have the first pick in the NBA Draft at 7 p.m. on June 26 at the Barclays Center.
