IndyCar Grand Prix of Arlington debuts in March. Here’s how much tickets cost
Texas will welcome the IndyCar series to the state next year with the inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington from March 13-15.
Tickets went on sale Aug. 6 and can be bought on IndyCar’s website starting at $138 for a three-day pass. Fans can also buy one-day passes that start at $44 on Friday, $63 on Saturday and $113 on Sunday.
Bill Miller, president of the Grand Prix of Arlington, said fans would enjoy an “epic weekend.”
“We are excited to launch ticket sales for what will be a historic event in Arlington’s Entertainment District,” he said in a statement. “We look forward to delivering the ultimate guest experience to both new and existing INDYCAR enthusiasts. It’s going to be an epic weekend.”
The race will see drivers zooming around a 2.73-mile temporary street circuit that runs through the heart of Arlington and encompasses AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, as well as Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium, the current and former homes of the Texas Rangers.
Pato O’Ward, who threw out the first pitch at the Rangers’ game on Aug. 6, expressed his excitement at being able to race in the Lone Star State.
“It’s going to be a party,” he said in a statement. “It will set the standard for how every INDYCAR race weekend should be for the teams and the fans. March can’t come soon enough.”
