Alabama, fresh off its national championship last month over Georgia, is now in recruitment mode and preparing for the future.

The Crimson Tide has offered Aledo 2020 running back and Oklahoma commit Jase McClellan and 2019 defensive back Jeffery Carter, along with Nolan Catholic 2019 linebacker NaNa Osafo-Mensah.

McClellan has been committed to Oklahoma since June.

He rushed for 1,528 yards and 20 touchdowns as a freshman, and was named the 2016 MaxPreps freshman of the year. He’s considered one of the top recruits nationally in the class of 2020.

McClellan recorded 1,600 yards rushing and 28 touchdowns in 2017.

Carter decommitted from Oklahoma last month, but does hold 14 offers, including 13 from a Power Five school like Texas, Texas, Tech Baylor, Georgia, and Oklahoma State.

He recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions and three pass deflections, and 232 yards receiving and a touchdown in 2017. According to 247Sports.com, Carter is ranked as the No. 209 player in the country, the No. 19 athlete and 26th-best prospect in Texas.

Osafo-Mensah is also considered a top 2019 prospect. According to 247Sports.com, he’s ranked as the No. 97 player in the country, the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and 13th-best prospect in Texas.

He holds 23 offers, 21 from a Power Five school.
