Mansfield rumbles by Arlington Sam Houston to clinch playoff spot
While Kennedy Brooks did fumble on the first Mansfield possession of the fourth quarter, the area’s leading rusher made up for the miscue on the next possession with a 74-yard touchdown run. He finished with 19 carries for 299 yards and three scores to lead the Tigers in a 37-20 victory against Arlington Sam Houston in a District 4-6A game Thursday at Wilemon Field in Arlington. The victory clinched a playoff spot for Mansfield.
