TAPPS re-airing high school state title games for free amid coronavirus pandemic
With high school sports continued to be suspended amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) is re-airing state championship games from the past 12 months.
TAPPS has been showcasing championship broadcasts from March 26 and will continue through Thursday on TAPPS TV and its YouTube page. Multiple championships will be re-streamed live each day on the TAPPS TV webpage (https://tapps.biz/tappstv/) and also via official TAPPS TV apps on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV, and Roku.
All broadcasts will be free to view thanks to BlueFrame Technology.
One of the broadcasts include Fort Worth Southwest Christian girls basketball winning its first state title in program history during the TAPPS 5A final against Houston Second Baptist.
The game will air 6 p.m. Monday.
Grapevine Faith’s second straight state championship in the 5A final against San Antonio will air 3 p.m. Thursday.
