Jeffery Carter is a 4-star corner out of Mansfield Legacy and one of the best high school football players in the country.

He’s so good, he made one of the most athletic and acrobatic interceptions you will ever see in a game. Legacy was playing Mansfield Timberview at Newsom Stadium on Sept. 28 when Carter picked off a pass.

Timberview was in Legacy territory and driving to score when a fade was thrown in Carter’s direction.

Carter leaped and grabbed the ball with one hand before doing one of those triple axles you see in figure skating.

The play is so insane you just have to see it for yourself:

The Broncos won 27-22 and now sit at 2-3 overall and 1-1 in District 6-5A Div. 1.

Carter is committed to Texas A&M. He also considered Oklahoma, Alabama and Texas. He’s ranked as the No. 11 corner in the nation and No. 18 prospect in the state.

Legacy is on a bye during Week 6 before getting two-time defending 5A Div. 1 state champion Highland Park on Oct. 12.
