How high is TCU star projected to go in the 2026 WNBA draft?

Olivia Miles is one of the nation’s top guards, has helped lead No. 13 TCU to a 16-1 record and is one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 WNBA draft.

Miles is averaging 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists on 52.4% shooting and is in line to be the second straight guard out of the Horned Frogs program to go in the first round, following Hailey Van Lith, who was drafted with the 11th selection by the Chicago Sky last year.

The WNBA draft is scheduled for April 13.

Where do prognosticators peg Miles to go?

Seattle checks in at No. 3 with TCU guard Olivia Miles, one of the most complete point guards in the class. Known for stuffing the stat sheet, Miles brings scoring, passing, and rebounding to any lineup. She could become the face of Seattle’s backcourt under new leadership.

The Storm missed out on drafting Miles last year when she chose to stay in school and transfer to TCU, but they may get another opportunity in 2026. As expected, Miles has been enormously productive for the Horned Frogs, posting averages of 18.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game (all career-highs), and she’s already recorded four triple-doubles. Players who stuff the stat sheet like that don’t grow on trees, and with All-Rookie center Dominique Malonga locked up through 2027, it would be awfully enticing for Seattle to draft a guard like Miles to pair with her.

Miles, a transfer from Notre Dame playing her final collegiate season at TCU, has been just what the No. 10 Horned Frogs needed. She is averaging 18.3 PPG, 6.7 RPG and 7.5 APG and appears to be the top point guard pick among college seniors. Miles could be a backcourt standout for the Storm’s future.

Chicago is a bit of a mess at the moment. It has its franchise player in Angel Reese, but now the Sky need to find a way to keep her. That starts with finding solid additions to play around her. Miles is one of the country’s top floor generals and her ability to pass in the fastbreak and to the post would work well with Reese. Plus, she can score in her own rightsomething Chicago needsaveraging 19.3 points per game.

Mock draft selection: No. 5 (Chicago Sky)

Jack Maloney, CBS Sports

The general consensus was that the Storm were going to take Miles with the No. 2 pick last year, but she stunned everyone by staying in school, which forced the Storm into taking Dominique Malonga. The French center looked awesome as a rookie, and now, the Storm might wind up with Miles after all, which would be a tremendous coup. Miles is a brilliant playmaker who could help unlock the Storm’s offense, and the defensive structure in Seattle could help cover for her on that side of the ball.

After landing All-Rookie selections Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen and stashing Georgia Amoore as she rehabs from her ACL tear, the Washington Mystics enter 2026 with another opportunity to add premium young talent through three first-round picks. Very few guards in the world can control pace and create offense the way Olivia Miles does. She is having the most productive season of her career after transferring to TCU, averaging career bests in both points (17.6) and assists (7.6) per game.

Mock draft selection: No. 4 (Washington Mystics)
