TCU men’s basketball lands Oregon State transfer Liutauras Lelevicius
TCU men’s basketball added a third transfer portal commitment late Friday night.
Oregon State transfer forward Liutauras Lelevicius committed to Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs on his Instagram.
A 6-foot-7 forward, Lelevicius averaged 8.7 points and 4.0 rebounds for Oregon State on 48% shooting from the floor, including 37.9% from 3-point range in his lone season with the Beavers.
Lelevicius played professionally in Lithuania for Lietkabelis in the Lithuanian league. He also competed for Lithuania at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships, where he averaged 17.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. He also competed in the FIBA U19 FIBA World Cup in 2021.
Lelevicius will be a redshirt junior next season and joins a class that includes Iowa transfer guard Brock Harding and Providence transfer guard Jayden Pierre. Lelevicius is expected to play the small forward spot while being able to help at power forward in spurts.
TCU’s 2025 roster is rounding out nicely with the three transfers plus the return of Micah Robinson, Malick Diallo, Jace Posey and David Punch. Guards RJ Jones and Ashton Simmons will also be back after taking redshirt seasons. The Horned Frogs will also bring in Duncanville star Kayden ‘Bugg’ Edwards and junior college big man Xavier Edmonds.
The Horned Frogs will likely aim to add another player from the portal in the coming days.
