UDFA tracker: Where are undrafted TCU players getting NFL shots?
Every aspiring NFL player wants to hear their name called during the NFL Draft, and TCU had a Big 12-leading five players experience that thrill.
Wide receiver Jalen Reagor and cornerback Jeff Gladney were first-round picks, defensive tackle Ross Blacklock was a second-round pick, offensive tackle Lucas Niang was a third-round pick and safety Vernon Scott was a seventh-round pick.
But several other Horned Frogs players are still chasing their pro dreams. Here’s an undrafted free agent tracker for TCU players (which will be updated).
▪ RB Sewo Olonilua: Dallas Cowboys. Olonilua will have an opportunity to make the roster as a fullback. He received $55,000 guaranteed ($5,000 signing bonus and $50,000 of his base salary).
▪ OL Cordel Iwuagwu. Houston Texans. He’ll reunite with Blacklock as a versatile interior lineman. He received $20,000 guaranteed ($10,000 signing bonus, $10,000 of his base salary).
▪ LT Anthony McKinney: Tennessee Titans. McKinney is viewed as a developmental piece with potential to make a roster one day.
▪ WR TreVontae Hights: Carolina Panthers. He was a special teams ace for the Frogs. He received $18,000 guaranteed ($8,000 signing bonus, $10,000 of his base salary).
