Jaylen Fisher, Kouat Noi still sidelined for TCU men’s basketball team
Junior guard Jaylen Fisher and sophomore forward Kouat Noi remain sidelined with knee injuries for the men’s basketball team.
Fisher and Noi will not play tonight against Fresno State at Schollmaier Arena.
Fisher and Noi have been out since the start of the season as each is dealing with knee injuries.
Fisher will be eased back into game action following a meniscus injury last January that ended his sophomore season, and arthroscopic surgery on the same knee (right) in September. Fisher has been progressing in practice, though, and should be an option sooner than later.
Noi, a sophomore forward, is dealing with a knee injury that is not considered serious. He averaged 10.2 points a game last season.
On the positive injury news front, freshman forward Lat Mayen is expected to play after sitting out Sunday’s game against Oral Roberts. Mayen has been battling a left knee injury, and saw just six minutes in the season-opener against CSU Bakersfield.
Mayen had just three practices going into the opener.
TCU is looking to improve to 3-0 tonight. The Frogs have never lost in November under Dixon, going a perfect 7-0 in the month the past two years.
