Have you ever wanted to take batting practice in the Texas Rangers ballpark? Well for the first time in the ballpark’s history, Globe Life Field will open its doors for fans to take batting practice.
How will it work, and how much will it cost?
It will cost $900 for 1 hour, not including taxes and fees. Those interested can fill out this form to be notified when time slots become available.
Purchasers will get 1 hour and can have up to eight guests to take at-bats and shag balls in the outfield, but will not be permitted to run the bases and will have a pitching machine operator Included.
No more than eight guests are allowed but parents or spectators not participating can watch from the dugout.
Guests cannot wear cleats but can bring their own bats or helmets, though the Rangers will provide both for those who don’t have them.
Fans aged 17 or younger will need at least one participant aged 25 years or older as part of their group. No food or beverages will be provided, but fans may bring their own in accordance with the regular Globe Life Field policy.
Guests 12 and under can use metal bats, but guests 13 and older must use wooden bats.
