Multiple days of rain in the North Texas forecast. Here’s the latest on storms

North Texas will see a few chances for rain this week.

Storms will move into the region on Monday, April 20, with increasing coverage expected overnight into early Tuesday, April 21, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Rain amounts will likely be around a tenth to half an inch.

Scattered storms are in the forecast for much of Tuesday, with rain amount around half an inch. Rain will linger overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, April 22, with low chances throughout the day.

Clear skies are expcted Thursday, April 23, with low rain chances returning in the evening, per the NWS. A similar pattern is in store for Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25.

North Texas will begin the week with daily highs in the mid-60s to upper 70s, with increasing temperatures in the low to upper 80s closer to the weekend.

  • Friday, April 24- 87 degrees, 20% chance of rain overnight
  • Saturday, April 25- 84 degrees, 30% chance of rain overnight
  • Sunday, April 26- 83 degrees, 20% chance of rain
