Cool, sunny weather in store for North Texas on Monday, Feb. 23

Many North Texans woke up to cool temperatures on Monday, Feb. 23.

Daily highs will stay cool in the upper 50s throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Skies will be sunny and rain-free on Monday.

Temperatures are slightly below normal for Feb. 23, according to NWS climate records. The normal maximum for the day is 63 degrees.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast overnight with lows in the upper 30s.
