TCU: TCU’s campus will be closed Monday, and all classes and activities are canceled, officials said. Notification of any closure on Tuesday will be communicated via TCU Alert.

Tarrant County College: All campuses will be closed Monday. A decision on Tuesday classes will be made on Monday. Campus activities scheduled after 5 p.m. on Friday are canceled.

Decisions to close Tarrant County College campuses and facilities are made through an organized and comprehensive process, according to the school. Before TCC announce campus closings or delayed openings, members of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, TCC’s Chief of Police, Communications/PR and Marketing, Facilities and the Department of Emergency Management talk by phone. They review information from the National Weather Service and reports about site conditions from each of TCC’s campuses and facilities. Once the information has been reviewed and a decision reached, the community is notified. The closure is announced through many communications channels, including TCC Alerts and TCC’s website.
