There is a good chance we’ll see rain Monday night, but the rest of the week will remain dry and mild in North Texas.

A 30% chance of rain Monday will lead to a 70% chance in the evening and going into Tuesday, said Tom Bradshaw, meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Wednesday also has a small chance of showers.

The rest of the week will be remain dry and in the low to mid-80 degrees, Bradshaw said. Tuesday has a high of 81, followed by Wednesday at 83 and Thursday at 84 degrees.

Rain chances return to the forecast heading into Friday at 20%, increasing to a 60% chance the evening and going into Saturday. The rest of the weekend should be slightly cooler, with temperatures around the low 80s, Bradshaw said.

Sunday is still a ways out, but North Texas could see a cool morning in the 50s if the forecast holds up.

“We’re going to cross our fingers that, that actually materializes right now,” Bradshaw said “It’s in the forecast so we’ll kind of see if it sticks.”
