A major crash in east Fort Worth injured two people and shut down parts of Interstate 30 early Tuesday, officials said.

Officers responded to the eastbound lanes of I-30 near E. Loop 820 around 5:50 a.m. after getting a call about an accident between two 18-wheelers, according to the 911 call sheet.

All eastbound lanes of I-30 are shut down at E. Loop 820 while the accident is being cleared, police said.

One person was critically injured, according to MedStar. Another person received minor injuries.
