Trinity Metro offering free rides in new ZIPZONE through June. Here’s where it is

Trinity Metro has a new ZIPZONE in Fort Worth and to introduce the new service, free rides will be offered through the month of June.

ZIPZONE is a transportation option for riders to skip the preset route bus stops and get to a destination within specific service boundaries. The service operates similar to ride share options.

The new ZIPZONE location is in Southeast Fort Worth, which includes Tarrant County College South Campus, Tarrant County Resource Connection and the Fort Worth VA Clinic along with shopping and dining options.

ZIPZONE vehicles are available for rides between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Riders can book a ride through the Trinity Metro ZIPZONE mobile app or by calling 817-215-8600.

The Southeast ZIPZONE offers connections to bus routes 24, 25, 28, 33, 54, 55 and 67.

Other ZIPZONE service areas include Alliance, Mercantile, Southside and South Tarrant.
