Drivers with gas powered vehicles have seen record high prices at the pump this year in Texas.

The average price of gas was $4.69 in Tarrant County as of Monday with the state average price at $4.56, according to the American Automobile Association. Nationally, the average gas price was $4.86.

The Star-Telegram previously reported ways to get around Fort Worth using public transportation, however for most in Tarrant County public transit is not an option.

With high gas prices hurting drivers at the pump, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram wants to know how often Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex residents use public transportation, if at all, and whether they would utilize it if it was regionally expanded.
