Kamala Harris to visit North Texas on Friday during final campaign push
Kamala Harris plans to visit North Texas this week, according to Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins and media reports.
The Democratic Vice Presidential nominee will visit the region Friday, Jenkins told News Talk WBAP on Monday. The specifics of the visit have not been released by the Joe Biden-Harris campaign.
The announcement comes one day after data showed Biden regaining a narrow lead over President Donald Trump in Texas, according to a poll released Sunday by The Dallas Morning News and University of Texas at Tyler.
Biden’s lead among likely voters is 48%-45%, within the poll’s margin of error.
President Donald Trump does not have plans to campaign in Texas prior to Nov. 3, his spokesman and former Gov. Rick Perry told reporters Sunday.
