A Dunkin’ customer went on a tirade against a worker at a Missouri location before pointing a gun at her, authorities say.

The Rock Hill Police Department said the woman ordered food at Dunkin’ on Feb. 21, but after receiving it she complained to an employee about it being cold.

She received a refund, but “apparently unsatisfied,” she picked up a ceramic tip jar and threw it, causing it to break, police said.

The woman is then accused of throwing food at the worker before leaving the eatery.

Police said the worker followed the customer outside and was recording on her phone as she tried to get the woman’s license plate number.

The customer, police said, then pointed a “semi-automatic pistol” at the employee “in an angry or threatening manner” and attempted to hit her in the face.

Footage from the worker’s phone was turned over to authorities, leading to charges filed against the customer, police said.

Court records show the woman was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault and second-degree property damage.

Rock Hill is a western suburb of St. Louis.
